This exhibit promotes our local crop while teaching children about commerce, such as how food makes its way from the farm to the home. This journey is traced as visitors help “plant” seeds, nurture apple plants, pick apples for processing, and transport them to the bakery.

09-14	Happy Birthday to Hands On! Come to Hands On! Tuesday, September 14 and help us celebrate our 3rd birthday! Tania from Flat Rock Playhouse will lead a sing-along at 10:30 a.m. Make and decorate a birthday hat! And...have some delicious McFarlan's cake! Events are free with $5 admission/free for members
09-29	All about Fruits and Veggies! Wednesday, 9/29, 10:30 a.m. Free with $5 admission/free for members Do you like your fruits and veggies? Do you know what a vegetarian is? Learn all about healthy eating in this fun lesson led by Gretchen from the Hendersonville Co-op!
